上野憲男 UENO NORIO
1932年 北海道生まれ。 1962年第5回現代日本美術展コンクール優賞受賞後、象徴的な形や記号、文字などを浮遊させ青色を基調としたみずみずしい色彩 と詩的感性に溢れる画面は独特の絵画世界を築いている。
近年は1994年「種子と惑星」から「方形の庭」、1997年の「地上からの掌」に至り、内的宇宙の闇と光の中に巨きな生と死のリズムを脈動させつつ深化してきている。現在、栃木県那須高原のアトリエで油彩 を中心に水彩、版画、オブジェ、写真など多彩な表現を自由に展開している。
NORIO UENO
Ueno was born in 1932 in the town of Teshio, Hokkaido.
In 1962, he was awarded the Best Prize in the 5th Contemporary Japanese Art Exhibition Competition.
The world of art he has been creating in his paintings since then is uniqe in that his work contains symbolic forms signs and letters floating in fresh blue space of various tones, depicting his distinctive poetic sentiment.
In his recent paintings, such as " THE SEEDS AND PLANETS " and " A SQUARE GARDEN " in 1994 and " THE PALM OUT OF THE EARTH " in 1997, we can that the meaning of life and death, which he expresses rhythmically by means of light and darkness of the internal universe, has been given a bigger dimension.
He continues to enjoy a variety of art forms and creates not only oil painting but also watercolor paintings, prints, objects d'art and photographs in his studio in Nasu Heights, Tochigi.
